15 JA-YE organizations from 13 European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey) and Eurochambres are organizing Creativity and Innovation Challenges for vocational school students, aged 15-18. The project is taking place thanks to a grant from the European Commission Leonardo da Vinci Networks programme.
The events focus on fostering young people’s problemsolving and innovation skills. Students are given a specific challenge to solve within a limited period of time. The link between business and education helps students to develop skills that are relevant to the workplace and allows them to apply their academic learning in a real-life context.
